After ten years living in Brooklyn, New York City natives Christine and Kwame Ohemeng moved their family to South Orange New Jersey. Eager to have a dedicated area for Christine’s artistic pursuits, the Ohemeng family lovingly restored their 19th century backyard carriage house and transformed the first floor into a light filled and airy art studio.

With expertise in textile printing and product design, Christine has been eager to share her love of these art forms with children and adults. She taught creative workshops while living in Brooklyn and had continued to teach at The Visual Art Center of New Jersey as well as at One River Art School upon her family’s move to New Jersey.

Christine is excited to open the doors of her art studio, Art Barn, for small group, socially distanced, art instruction via an array of classes and workshops.

Christine’s bio is available here.
