Imaginary Worlds: Clay Creations, Painting & Marbling
During our 7 weeks together we will make colorful three dimensional creations using clay, wood, paper and paint.. We will brainstorm and gather inspiration for our clay pieces. We will explore the Suminagashi and ebru methods of marbling on paper, fabric and wood (including learning where each originated) and will combine marbling and clay sculpting and painting to make our own 3 dimensional work of art. On our final day of class, grown ups are invited to our open studio, where everyone’s beautiful creations will be on display.
Time: 4:15 - 5:30 pm
Ages: 7-10
Cost: $310/child. All materials are included.
